Security
Bowcci takes every precaution to protect our users’ information. When users submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and off-line.
When our order form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number), that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry - SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) 3.0 or higher. In transit, information is protected by SSL with an encryption key length of
128 bits (the highest level commercially available). To further shield your credit card and bank numbers, firewall-protected servers are not directly connected to the internet. While making a payment on a secure page, the lock icon will show (closed) at the top of your page. Another tip to verify a secure payment page on a website is to check the http: in your address bar. If it appears as https: it is secure and encrypted.
Not only does Bowcci ensure your security online (SSL encryption to protect sensitive information), we also do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. All of our users’ information, is restricted in our office. Only administration who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing, customer service) are granted access to sensitive information.
Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s hard drive containing information about the user.
Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on the Bowcci site. Once the user closes their browser, the cookie simply terminates.
Sharing
Bowcci will not share your personal information with any other third party. Bowcci will not retain, share, store or use personal information for any secondary purposes.
